Senior Portraits with Anna

Spring Portraits for a Utah High School Graduate

Olympus High School Class of 2018

Aside from shooting weddings and couples from all over Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho, I often get the privilege of photographing Utah high school and college graduates. Being a senior portrait photographer is definitely my next favorite thing besides capturing people’s love!

I first met Anna when our moms joined a book club together (no one knows if they actually read the books lol). Anna’s mom always loved hearing about my photography and the journey my business has been on. So, when her daughter needed senior portraits, they naturally thought to come to me first!

Anna loves the outdoors, reading, and ice skating. Because of her love for the mountains, and the fact that we both live less than a 20 minute drive to any of the canyons, we knew we had to do her senior portraits up in the trees and slopes.

She brought some of her favorites outfits including her officer sweater she received for being one of the officers in the theater club at her high school. We adventured around
Millcreek Canyon and the weather was perfect for this late spring session. The canyon still had plenty of snow, but I worked my magic and you would never know!

Anna’s session turned out beautifully and full of golden light. I was absolutely overjoyed when I received Anna’s graduation announcement in the mail because she had chosen one of my personal favorite images from the session to highlight her big accomplishment!

Congrats Anna and the rest of the Class of 2018!
