Prissy + Scotty | Salt Lake Temple Wedding
This cute Utah couple are the definition of my dream clients. Not only did Priscilla find me by browsing through Instagram for a wedding photographer, but she booked a full package with me no questions asked. She knew she wanted me for what I could offer her and Scott: a fun time at our sessions, professional client experience, and of course amazing photos along the way.
Our sessions were fun from the beginning. Scotty is the biggest jokester and there is never a dull moment when he’s around. But laughs aside, this couple are some of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met. Priscilla is a nurse and cares for everyone. Scott has a love for animals and will nurture anyone he comes in contact with. They’re giving hearts made it so easy for me to serve them on their wedding day. They completely trusted me without a doubt that I would provide amazing images that captured lasting memories.
Prissy was dead set on doing their first look formal bridal session at Red Butte Gardens. I was all for it! However, she threw me for a loop when she said the appointment was at 2pm! But, that didn't stop me and their bridals are some of my favorites to date.
We did their formal session in mid April just at the peak of all the flowers blooming. The weather was perfect and we had a slight breeze that danced through Priscilla's veil.
When it came to their big day, it was a torrential downpour at the Salt Lake Temple. But, that didn’t stop Prissy + Scotty from dancing in the rain on their wedding day. They had a beautiful luncheon at the Lion House and they treated me like family the whole day.
When the time came for their reception, the clouds parted and the sun shone through the big windows at the top of the Zions Bank building in Downtown Salt Lake City. We had 360 degree views of the entire valley and sunset in the west.
They held a simple ring ceremony in the Founder's Room for their friends and family that couldn't go inside the temple. Tears were shed but much more love was spread around.
This couple knew how to party. From dinner catered by Red Iguana (like the BEST Mexican food in Utah!) to their scrumptious cake, their friends and family did not leave with empty bellies. The night was finished up with some games and dancing.
I absolutely loved serving Prissy + Scotty from start to finish.
What Prissy said…
Working with Bri was great! She is fun and professional at the same time. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and allowed us to be ourselves. We used Bri for our engagements, bridal/formal, and wedding. My husband and I would recommend Bri.
