Maddie + Johnny
I was with Maddie + Johnny from the beginning. When they began their search for a wedding photographer, Maddie immediately reached out BEFORE they were even engaged! She knew it was coming and she wanted ME to capture her big day. Aaaaaand sure enough about a week later Johnny dropped down on his knee and asked the girl of his dreams to marry him.
Every session we had together was full of jokes, big smiles, and boy are they not afraid to kiss!! They made my job a breeze! They shared their first kiss on Halloween in 2016 and a year later we did their engagements on Halloween! It truly made that session special for them.
Oh. And then you can't forget the sweetest first look session we did in the snowy Utah mountains. I mean look at these beauties!
Their Big Day: December 29, 2017
Some couples don't like the idea of a winter wedding because of a number of reasons. In Utah it could be snowing, raining, windy, and cold. But that didn't stop Johnny + Maddie. They were ready to be sealed for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. And the heavens were looking down on them on their wedding day because they had PERFECT weather, and by the time they exited the most amazing golden light was shining on the Moroni.
They danced the night away at their gorgeous reception at The Ivy House right in the heart of Salt Lake City. Their cake was amazing, the centerpieces were perfect, and not to mention they had a freakin' hot cocoa bar!!! You bet I got in on that.
They laughed, cried , and danced the night away. I always challenge my couples to make me cry during their first dance; this typically is not a hard task and it's a good thing I'm behind the camera because I'm an uuuuuugly crier. But what truly got to me was the daddy daughter dance. Maddie and her dad had everyone in tears, especially when they started dancing with her on his feet like kids do when they're young.
Ok. Enough with the water works. Hold yourself together, Bri. I'll just let you guys see for yourselves.
